Merilee Dalton, CMHC

From a young age, Merilee always had a caring and compassionate heart, and knew she wanted to help others in some way. During her time of working on her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Southern Utah University, she realized she wanted to become a mental health therapist, and then continued her education and started her Master’s at University of Phoenix in Mental Health Counseling, which she completed in 2010.

Merilee has attended trainings in TF-CBT with children, play therapy, and is working towards certification in EMDR. She has worked with all ages,with children as young as 3-years-old, adolescents, and adults.

Merilee has been married for 12 years, has 3 children, and loves spending time with them. They like to go camping, swimming, skiing, and other outdoor activities. She has an Alaskan Malamute who she also loves. Merilee loves music, family, and has a strong sense of believing in people’s ability to heal areas of their life where there is struggle, and using healthy ways to help that happen.
